Woods gets booed at Stanford-California game
By GolfChannel.com TeamPosted: November 23, 2009
BOO WHO?
Tiger Woods faced an unusual reception when he delivered a half-time
speech at this past week's Stanford-California football game.
Woods,
who was on hand to serve as honory captain and be inducted into the
Stanford Athletics Hall of Fame, gave a brief talk at midfield during
halftime. Though the game was at Stanford, California fans roundly
booed Woods, which caught him offguard.
The Golden Bears beat the Cardinal, 34-28.

“I read a very interesting article by Jason Wittlock which sums up the entire Tiger saga. I would suggest that all who are interested in this bang on Tiger while he's down mentality read this article. It basically says that just because Tiger doesn't talk to the media on their terms now is the time to smash the egg in his face. Out of all the crap that I have been reading and seeing this article made me understand how two faced most of the media is. If you don't want to buy any of the products from the companies he represents then just don't. I don't need all of these hypocrites saying I will never buy a product that he endorses. Leave the man alone and let him work things out with his family. Stop throwing stones at him. Good luck TW and good bless you to Elin as well as those beautiful children.”
