Sean O’Hair’s third child born day after U.S. Open
By Associated PressPosted: June 24, 2009
FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – Sean O’Hair finished an uncertain week at the U.S. Open and returned home in time for the birth of his third child, a son named Grady Quinn.
O’Hair spent a week at Bethpage Black knowing his wife, Jackie, was expecting any day. He had said he would leave the U.S. Open if he got word that she had gone into labor. The rain delays meant he had to stay on Long Island into Monday afternoon.
Jon Wagner, his agent at IMG, said the baby was born about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, and that everyone was doing well.
O’Hair, the No. 13 player in the world ranking, shot a 76 in the final round and tied for 23rd in the U.S. Open.
