0Heart Signs

BETHESDA, Md. – Ran into Kelly Murray – long-drive champion, Big Break regular and caddie for inspiring pro Erik Compton – on Thursday at Congressional. Murray was supposed to be looping for Compton this week, but the double heart transplant broke his arm loading his boat onto a trailer.
Compton was supposed to play this week on a sponsor exemption but had to withdraw. He still made the trip to Washington, D.C., and visited with injured military personnel on Tuesday at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
“He went in there with a cast that was white,” Murray smiled. “When he came out he had over 400 signatures on it.”
For someone who is on his second transplant, the guy sure does have a lot of heart.
