ORLANDO, Fla. – Tiger Woods did not look like he was hit in the face with a golf club.

Elin, his wife, did not look like she was angry over a fight with her husband.

Those were among the central points the attorney for the family that made the 911 call the night of the accident wanted to make clear in a news conference Tuesday in downtown Orlando.

"The question about scratches on his face, the scratches were consistent with someone in a minor car accident," said Bill Sharpe, the attorney for Jerome and Linda Adams and their family, neighbors of Woods. "The injuries did not look like he had been beaten up by a golf club. None of the injuries looked like he had been beaten up by his wife.

Sharpe said the family heard no argument, only the crash before racing outside and observing Woods lying on the road with his wife over him. He said the family has been beseiged by calls and want media to know they told police all they know and told the truth.

“Let's see now, the neighbors heard the crash, 'raced' outside and found Tiger's wife standing over him. His wife heard the crash, raced outside, saw the wreck, went back and got a golf club, raced back to the accident, broke three windows and got Tiger out...all before the neighbor arrived.....If you believe that story you are a fool.”

“Mell now is backtracking on his ridiculous "60 days of hell" comment. Looks like the neighbors' story hugely supports Woods, as us smart folks expected. At the news conference the FHP should just put he kabosh on any remaining issues and get back to real work and stop acting like wussies just because a lot of loser press folks want to create some story to make money.”

“Isn't it sad that TMZ twisted the original story...complete with sources...that was in the news about this incident and all of a sudden the twisted story became more believed than the truth. It does speak volumes of how far we have fallen as a society. I can't wait for them twist to this statement. For we are now a soicety that rather by into the drama than believe the truth.”
