Michael Whan is the LPGA’s commissioner, hired Oct. 28, 2009, to replace Carolyn Bivens. Prior to the LPGA Whan was president and CEO of Mission-Itech Hockey and has a background in golf from serving as executive vice president and general manager of the North American region for TaylorMade Golf.
