Hi, this is Hunter Mahan with Titleist's Tips from the Tour, and today, we're going to talk about balance. I play a lot of Pro-am for a year and a common mistake I see with amateurs is that amateurs tend to stay on the right side during the golf swing which is gonna leave the club face open and hit a lot of slices, so we're trying to get a little bit wider with our stance. Kind of stay over the ball here and really fire to that left side. I really feel like there's a whole lot of weight on that left foot and then the transfer of energy is going to start at about 50%, and so hopefully when we finish, it's about 100% on this left side. Let's see if we can do that. As you can see, I'm on my left side fully and had a pretty good shot up there. If you wanna play better, I suggest getting through your left side more consistently.

    “Hunter "5 putt" Mahan gives a great tip. Trouble is I tried it and now I'm shanking everything from a 7 down. Thanks a lot. I know there's a time limit but maybe he should have been a little more apecific on causes and effects. Dave A”
