Hi, I'm Brad Brewer from the GolfChannel.com Academy. We got young Bradley helping us out today. Probably his favorite drill is the impact to get to smack this thing as hard as he wants. How does that sound? Good. Alright. I know he likes to hit it, so do I. This is gonna help you feel a good grip and a nice firm grip pressure. It's also gonna help you feel like you can extend your arms out and make some good acceleration coming through the strike. So Bradley, if you could set up to bag. It's important when you're working with your juniors that you get them set up correctly. So, we're not gonna bottom out this time. We're gonna try to hit right in the center of the bags. We're gonna elevate the club a little bit more. And you notice how I got the shaft kind of leaning a little bit forward here; so I got a good straight line working right up with the left arm. That's the feeling he wants to have coming into the impact zone. So, we're gonna kind of start him right there, and you just go ahead and make a nice swing back and give it a hit. Excellent. This is a wonderful drill that's gonna really help your son and daughters get a good extension of their arms coming through the strike, good impact. That feels pretty good? Yup.

It has been said that 80% of all golfers swing from over the top and most instructors concede that they always will.
