Hi, I'm Brad Brewer with the GolfChannel.com Academy. For you beginners, using the impact bag is gonna help us feel a variety of things in our golf swing. The first thing, we're gonna test our grip. So once we've got that good neutral grip on, we're just gonna make a little tap into the bag like so, and make sure that we can feel that we can hold on to the club and our hands aren't coming apart. So a good test of your grip and your grip pressure. The second thing we're gonna do we're just gonna add a little speed to it this time, and we're gonna start to sense what impact feels like. And it feels like the left side is hitting up against a brick wall. That's a great sensation for you beginners to start building into your visuals and your fields, and as you start to do that, it's gonna help you improve every aspect of your game. So go out and get yourself a little impact bag and it will help you practice the basic fundamentals needed for a good golf swing.
