    “I was a rules official at the NCAA championship at Ohio State which Annika won. I became a fan that week and my admiration for her has grown through the years as her ability grew through hard work and dedication to a game we all love. I have not played golf for several years due to a bad back but I have gotten great enjoyment from watching golf on TV - expecially Annika. I hope to see her for more than seven months. I watched her Sunday on TV and felt like I was watching the perfect game of golf with the wonderful shots she was hitting. I will certainly watch her for the next seven months - and hopefully longer.”

    “Annica demonstrated in her comments the class that she has demonstrated from her begininings on the LPGA Tour. She ranks as number 1 in my book. I only hope that Lorena, Morgan, Natalie, and Paula Creamer rise to the bar she has established. She will be missed competively.”

    “I grew up watching Nancy Lopez, helping make the LPGA grow in leaps and bounds. A classy lady that everyone who ever met her loved instantly, for her personality and her golf.
