Wonder if Tiger feels this year is a failure because he didn't win a major? And I wonder if he cares or would consider the CPOY award an insult, if he were to win or be nominated?

One of the posters on the board stated that Tiger "might" be offended by the CPOY award. I think his intention was to say that Tiger didn't want pity? I don't know.

Gee, maybe because it's about the CPOY, which is a PGA Tour award?

Oh, I forgot, if it mentions Tiger, it MUST go into the Tiger folder, according to the Net Nanny.

Why would he even be considered for comeback player. Whats he coming back from a career year. If he is elegible for it then so should every player that takes a break in the off season.

You would have to be an idiot to not know he couldn't swing a club for six months.

A better question would be, what do most of the CPOY winners come back TO? How great a year did Dudley Hart or Gene Sauer, or even Stricker in 2006, have to justify winning it? Should there really be an award for going from total obscurity to mediocrity?
