Tour Talk - pga run by a bunch of idiots - Barron a scapegoat    Back to Topics  Page: 1 of 1

Not only are they stupid enough to have a tournament at a course that they knew did not drain properly, so now they find someone with known medical problems and give him what amounts to a lifetime ban.

a one year suspension, but also a $500,000 fine, which they will collect from any winnings Barron has. It is doubtful Barron will earn $500,000 any time soon even when the suspension is over, so how is he suppose to live if they take everything he earns.

Do you have a cite to something talking about the fine? The original linked article only discussed the suspension.

When did they say anything about a fine? lastnites link only stated something about a 1 year suspension,

FYI i doubt any course would have drained enough for them to play, that was alot of rain,

let me guess, are you upset by this?

you only started three threads on the same topic.

If you're going to make someone an outcast, at least tell everyone what he did, so we can judge if the jakas pga is made up of the bunch of fools as it appears.

It's not a coincidence that days after the biggest blunder in pga history, letting the Viking Classic be played at a course that does not drain properly that Doug Barron is the first player announced as being suspended on an ill conceived drug policy that puts people with medical conditions at the greatest risk of being violated.

Is there any reason in the world that a player ranked at over 800 would be even tested on the few times he has played other than the pga knew they had a good chance of putting him in violation based on his medical condition?

So now everyone isn't talking about how stupid the pga was for letting the Viking Classic be played at an inadequately designed course, but about Doug Barron being the first player suspended on an equally inadequately designed drug polciy.

So where are all these steroid taking golf professionals that Gary Player is talking about?

I think the reason this is done by some posters is that the 'new' GC website makes is hard to find new posts. It sometimes looks like they are hiding certain posts as you have to click the entire list to find it at the bottom.

Just proves that steroids don't improve performance. Who is this guy? This whole drug thing was to catch Tiger, that's all, because if the other guys are taking steroids they haven't worked because Tiger is way the best.

Tiger was the 1st one tested, I think he knew the hater's were chomping at the bit.
