Allenby said he believed Kim managed to rout him 5 and 3 Sunday despite spending nearly the entire night out before their 9:43 a.m. PT tee time. “Maybe I should have the attitude of Anthony Kim, get home at 4 a.m. and go play,” Allenby said. “Friends of mine were out and watched him come in sideways.” Allenby called Kim the “current John Daly.” Approached in the Harding Park Golf Course parking lot after the news conference, Kim denied Allenby’s claim that he was out nearly all night. “Absolutely false,” Kim said. “I was at the hotel and had dinner with the team, met my buddies for about 20 minutes and went straight to my room.” Kim wasn’t pleased when told what Allenby said. “I hope that was a joke,” Kim said. “I’m actually pretty surprised he said that. What does this say about Allenby? If Kim was indeed out all night, he still kicked the beeswax out of Allenby. This isn't even an excuse for Allenby. This is making him look worse and worse. Kim being out late is a whole nother thing, but Robert needs to learn how to stick his foot in his big aussie mouth. Reply Report Ignore
