In my family, golf is tradition. As a boy, my Dad mowed the greens. Later, his son would too. Dad played golf for UT. His son dreamed of doing the same.
On June 13th, 2007 my Dad did the unimaginable. He spread the ashes of his youngest son, Charlie, where they had spent so much time together: on the driving range at Fox Den CC.
My Dad finds peace on the golf course. He’s taught me that life is like golf. You have good days and bad. If you have faith and embrace optimism, tomorrow can be a better day.
