   “As a minority golf pro in Chicago that teaches Young professionals, I have never had a problem with my race. Younger people see blacks doing everything, so they are not as surprised as older, amateur golfers. Older golfers are a bit more surprised in some instances. However, I have NEVER really had a problem with my race in today's golfing environment. I am one of the best instructors out there and my results speak volumes. I started Get a Grip America in 2003 and we are expanding to NY and LA in 2010. I love this game, and women, minorities and Young Professionals are the future of golf, and my job is to help them "Get a Grip on the Game of Life!"”

   “Born and raised in western Pennsylvania near the Chartiers Country club, Blacks were not only denied golfing there,we could not caddy at the course. Now living in Montgomery, Texas and a full-time golfer, I'm approached by numerous white golfers who bend over backwards to make me feel welcome to the courses and ranges. My how things have changed. ”
