The United States retained the Solheim Cup thanks to a 16-12 victory in Halmstad, Sweden. It marked the first time since 1996 that the U.S won on foreign soil. As we did before the Cup began, we are grading the players -- this time based on how they fared this past week.

Annika Sorenstam Despite season-long injuries was one of only two Europeans to play in all five matches. Went 2-2-1, with a disappointing singles loss to Morgan Pressel.
Laura Davies Got off to a rough start on Day 1 with a loss and a tie, but after sitting out the Day 2 morning session won her final two matches to go 2-1-1.
Trish Johnson Another poor performance in the Solheim Cup. Went 0-1-2 to drop her career record in the competition to 5-13-7. Now 1-7 in singles.
Gwladys Nocera Started the week with a win, but ultimately finished 1-2-1. Playing in the Cup for the second time, more was expected.
Catriona Matthew The best player this week on the European Team. The lone Scot went 3-1-0 and was one of only three Euros to win her singles match.
Suzann Pettersen A major champion this year, she was supposed to be the team leader. But went 1-1-2, including a crucial singles loss to an American rookie.
