“Below I said falered on Sunday but I should have said Monday - forgot that it is a Monday finish.”

“Congratulations to Lucas Glover! Now that he has won, I hope the Bethpage fans will try to give him a little love - albeit belatedly. He did play well and although he faltered on Sunday, he stood fast coming back with that birdie following the bogie on the back nine. He finally put it together on the weekend and so happens to be the US Open. Again congratulations. That Nike staff sure keeps winning quite a bit of tournaments.”

“I love Lucas Glover's accent - he could go into broadcasting once his playing days are over. I hope he can hang on - except for the front nine he has played so well all tournament. It is tight though. Phil might hang in there and would be a good story - considering. Glad to see a few of the top players make their way into the top 10. Duval is playing great - I guess this could be the positive turning point in his game from now forward. He has to gain tremendous confidence from his play to date. Macer, I notice that both Casey (who unfortunately missed the cut) and Glover are using Nike prototype putters seem to be putting better this year. Tiger is so tied to his Scotty Cameron that it would take a miracle for him to change. I sometimes think that Tiger, especially if he is not doing so well with his putting, could at least try one of the Nike prototype putter. But Tiger does take a long time before he makes changes. I find the other guys change putters when they get fed up. Anon”

“I hope Lucas Glover finishes ahead of Ricky Barnes. I simply don't care one iota for Barnes because he seems cocky and spoiled to me. I look for Glover and Barnes to comeback towards par during the remainder of the U.S. Open. It should be an exciting finish later this morning. Go Lucas, David, Mike and Tiger! Macer”
