“Hahahahaha, that's the sound of Michelle and her parents laughing at all you complainers. Guess what, TGC, the fans, the people, you know, the majority of us want to see more of the $12M golf phenom. Your so negative, and it must just kill you that your words are so totally ignored. hahahahahaha. ”

“Let's talk more about the LPGA and less about MW. The Corning scores are ridiculous. Why? Way too easy for the pros. The yardage is only 6220!!! That's the yardage that girls in their teens are competing at all over the U.S. Let's make the LPGA more exciting for all by increasing the yardages at which they compete! I know that MW hits it far and should be doing well with the Corning's short distance. She is obviously having an off week.”

“Normally wouldn't agree with someone liquoredup, but this time I have to. When is TGC going to get off this dead horse, until like the great Seabiscuit she proves she is a winner. I have never seen a golfer, including, John Daly, be so continuously hyped because they can hit the golf ball far. You can have the best swing, the longest length, and a putting stroke most would kill for, but if you don't or can't win, where is the story? Sidebar, not claiming or suggesting MW has any of those golf properties. It would be in her failure to win a tournament (LPGA) or make a cut (PGA). MW still winless, then talks about playing in the Masters, and the media doesn't jump on such a ridiculous comment. Talk about being insulting to so many players, male and female, amatuer and pro. Ben Wright was crucified for stating his opinions on air because golf is so PC, MW gets praised for her goals, even if they have more in common with Kim Jong-il's bombastic golf claims than anything close to reality. Hey TGC how about giving me some air time, my goal is to play the world's finest golf courses, private and public, then not only compete in but win The Masters. What makes my story, I'm disabled, shoot in the 80's and am 56 years old, I am sure I could reach some large demographic cash base. Any help or hype would be greatly appreciated; would be repaid with many quotable golf comments.”

“Just more garbage hype from TGC about MW. Most likely bought & paid for by Nike ... as is much of TGC's content. It got old long ago. Time to give it a rest.”

“Once again, the Golf Channel finds a way to keep Michelle in the news. Since her play is not news, they must find other things to talk about. Please, let her go, or let her win. She is the biggest manufactured story of golf. She has done absolutely nothing to warrent the level of attention she receives. For heavens sakes, she is an also ran in the LPGA!”

“Hyperbole again with Wie. Yeah Wie drives it 70 yards further than McPherson and Diaz. Give me a break.”

“Michele Wie's presence in a LPGA Tournament will eventually increase the attendance and the number of TV viewers. She is improving weekly....and who can drive over 290 yards in the LPGA.”

“Golf Channel must have found a replacement for Brian Hewitt, the leading pychophant of Michelle Wie. MW has about as much charisma as a snail.”

“"Playing in her seventh LPGA tournament as a card-carrying professional at the Corning Classic this week, senior writer Randall Mell writes..." Does the Golf Channel have a copy editor?”
