“We just started participating in this event last year and my son was really looking forward to this year's competition. His sister is just now old enough to start participating, so we were looking at traveling to several events within driving distance of our area. I certainly hate to see this program go away, though are so few opportunities for young golfers to experience success that will keep them playing for years to come. ”

“We've been participating in this event in the Houston area for about five years. For the past two years, my son has medaled (putting last year, chipping the year before that). It has given him tremendous confidence that he can play this game, and has served as a benchmark for his progress. I hope it can be resurrected in the future. It has true value. Rick Weber ”

“Well, my son was finnaly ready to participate in one of these events and now they are no longer exists. I am very dissapointed, however I am hoping you will find new ways for juniors to have fun and compete in such events in the future.”

“We have three children ages now 14,12 and 8 that have competed in the Drive,Chip and Putt.We have done it for 5 years or longer. It has been so much fun for our family! My 14 year old daughter has qualified for regional a few times and won the long distance drive with a drive over 250 yards. My son,who is 12 now has qualified a couple times for the regional. They all have medals from the individual events. We will miss going to the Drive,Chip and Putt! We hope you do something like this again. Thank you!”

“Its a shame this event is being discontinued. After participating last year, my son was really motivated to go out and practice for this year. He's pretty disappointed now. The event seemed to be really successful in the Bay Area last year but I guess financial institutions have bigger problems now than sponsoring golf events.”
