Cellini Rejoins GOLF CHANNEL Team
By GOLF CHANNEL Newsroom
ORLANDO, Fla. – Vince Cellini has rejoined the GOLF CHANNEL, resuming his role as a member of the network’s group of studio personalities.
Cellini, who served as a network anchor, reporter and show host from 2003-2007, will assume his former role as a main anchor for the network’s nightly news program, "Golf Central," as well as host of the popular, topic-driven series, "The Grey Goose 19th Hole."
“We’re all delighted to have Vince back,” said GOLF CHANNEL President Page H. Thompson.
Cellini joined the GOLF CHANNEL after an award winning stint as anchor for CNN sports and various other Turner networks. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Cellini began his sports broadcasting career at WJW-TV, where he was a three-time regional Emmy Award nominee for sports reporting. He joined CNN in 1989, where he won a 1996 Cable Ace Award for his work on "CNN Sports Tonight" and was a two-time nominee (1995 and ’97). He was also elected to the Ohio Radio Television Hall of Fame in 2000.
He attended College of Wooster where he was a four-year letterman as a tight end setting records, including most touchdowns receiving in a career. Cellini and his wife Lisa have three children, Vincent, Adam and Alex.

“I am very glad to see Vince back on the golf channel. I hope he is the co-host again for the Big Break in April. The Big Break has not been the same since he left as anchor. Please bring him back to Big Break!”
