COURSES

PGA West-Stadium

Rated as one of the "Top 100 Courses in the World" by GOLF MAGAZINE and Golf Digest's "Top 50 Toughest Courses in America (2007)," there may be no greater challenge or excitement in the game of golf than the Stadium at PGA West! The world famous Stadium is one of Pete Dye's finest course creations, delivering multiple adrenaline rushes throughout the round. Host to PGA TOUR "Q-School" Finals every other year, PGA TOUR hopefuls must steady their nerves to navigate the island green of hole #17, known as Alcatraz. Imagine yourself as one of them, needing to make par on the menacing water-lined 18th hole to earn the coveted PGA TOUR card or to claim the National Championship on the GOLF CHANNEL Amateur Tour!

PGA West-Nicklaus Tournament

Challenge, beauty and drama permeate every Jack Nicklaus Course, and the masterfully designed Nicklaus Tournament is no exception. It is one of the only courses in the world to feature two island greens. The enormous and undulated double-green of holes 9 & 18 are perfectly viewed from the Stadium Clubhouse. The Nicklaus Tournament continues to play co-host to PGA TOUR Qualifying Finals. A tough final stretch of holes will add pressure to the final groups as it comes down to the wire for the National Championship!

PGA West-Norman

PGA WEST's Championship Course was completed in May of 2000 with the desert-scaped, target-style layout of The Greg Norman. A prehistoric ocean bed 40 feet below sea level is now the territory of emerald green fairways, crushed white marble bunkers and shark blue waters. Vibrant wildflowers are a stunning contrast to the surrounding crescent of terra cotta mountains, creating a golf experience like no other. The PGA TOUR has once again put their stamp of approval on PGA WEST by making the Greg Norman Course a co-host for the PGA TOUR Pre-Qualifying Tournament in 2006 and 2007. The Norman also hosts "The Prestige at PGA WEST," one of college golf's most acclaimed Intercollegiate Invitational events, drawing only top-ranked universities.

La Quinta-Mountain Course

The Mountain Course is famous for its unique design and visually stunning setting. This golfer's paradise is literally carved into the Santa Rosa Mountains, demanding accurate, strategic play while providing the ultimate in breathtaking views. Pete Dye's skillful design is ranked among Golf Magazine's "Top 100 Courses You Can Play" in the United States. The Mountain Course has also played host to the PGA World Cup in 1985, the PGA Senior Skins Game in 1989, and has hosted the PGA Club Professional Championship an astounding 9 different times!

Golf Club at La Quinta

Golf Club at La Quinta has been tested and tried by professional golfers including Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Fred Couples, Adam Scott, Annika Sorenstam and Mark O'Meara, as the home of the 2003, 2004, 2005, and the 2006 PGA Tour SKINS GAME events.

Set at the base of the majestic Santa Rosa Mountains of Palm Desert, California, this 18-hole championship Southern California golf course is a Gary Panks-design that insures challenge and reward for players of all skill levels.

Dramatic water features and sand perils complement the golf course fairways, leading to the rolling greens. The natural California desert landscape of the surrounding Coachella Valley creates a boundary of play both beautiful and daunting.

Golf course conditions are always Best in Class at the Golf Club at La Quinta, which recently received the distinction of “Best Places to Play-2008-2009” and was awarded 4.5 out of 5 stars by Golf Digest.

SilverRock Golf Resort

The Arnold Palmer Classic Course at SilverRock was named in the “Top 10 New Courses That You Can Play” by Golf Magazine. It was the only golf course in California to make the Top 10 list.SilverRock is also one of the four host courses for one of the most popular and storied PGA Tour events, the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic. Opened in early 2005, this layout is situated at the base of Santa Rosa and Coral Mountains – and is closer to these mountains than any other public course in the Coachella Valley. As a result, the views are postcard quality, with gorgeous backdrops and surrounding vistas. Combined with outstanding conditions from tee to green and wonderful service, SilverRock Resort provides one of the most memorable golfing experiences in La Quinta – or anywhere! You will absolutely love this golf course!

Mountain View Country Club

The Arnold Palmer signature guarantees golf course design of uncompromising standards and Mountain View Country Club is perhaps the ultimate expression. Always in lush and pristine condition, the course is deliberately planned to be in perfect harmony with the Southern California landscape. The magnificent par 5 finishing hole embodies everything that is great about Arnold Palmer and this outstanding course: beauty, strategy, drama, and the opportunity for the bold player to score well.
