| Rosie Jones is an on-course reporter for the Golf Channel’s live tournament coverage of the LPGA Tour. During her career, she captured 13 LPGA tournament titles and is one of the top-10 money winners in the history of the LPGA TOUR. The 1981 graduate of The Ohio State University played fulltime on the LPGA for 25 years and won tournaments a remarkable 17 years apart, taking her first title in 1987 and her most-recent in 2003. Rosie was a fiery leader of seven U.S. Solheim Cup teams, racking up a sparkling 11-9-2 record in the biennial competition against a team from Europe and bringing home 12 points for the American side. When not on the golf course, Rosie loves to dance, fish, work in the garden and play with her dog. At the 2006 U.S. Women's Open, Rosie marked her retirement from fulltime competition by taking off her golf shoes and golf glove and leaving them beside the 18th at Newport Country Club. To show the kind of person she is, Rosie was back at Newport the next day to cheer on her Solheim Cup teammate Pat Hurst in her 18-hole playoff against Annika Sorenstam. | |
