| Golf Channel viewers will find Megan West anchoring Golf Central, Golf Central Updates and reporting on-site from select events. A graduate of Ohio University's E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, West's career started as a sports intern with CNN Sports Illustrated. The golf fanatic, who played competitively growing up, returned to her hometown of Pittsburgh, Penn., where she served as a production assistant at FOX Sports Pittsburgh. Her on-air debut came in Salisbury, Md., where she joined the WBOC CBS 16 sports team as a sports reporter/anchor, contributing to the station's Associated Press Outstanding Overall Sports awards in 1998, 1999 and 2000. Her next stops were in Toledo, Ohio, and Salt Lake City, Utah, as a sports anchor/reporter. In the summer of 2005 West walked down the aisle, marrying University of Florida offensive coordinator Dan Mullen. | |
