| One of the original GOLF CHANNEL on-air personalities still with the team, Brian Hammons is the voice for the network’s LPGA Tour coverage as well as the Champions Tour. He joined the GOLF CHANNEL with a wealth of sports anchoring experience under his belt. Hammons joined the GOLF CHANNEL from WXIN-TV (FOX) in Indianapolis, Ind., where he served as the weeknight sports anchor for the station’s nightly newscasts. His duties included serving as studio host of Indiana Pacers telecasts (pregame, halftime and postgame shows) while also anchoring “Sportsview,” the station’s Sunday night sports highlight show. His resume also includes stints at ABC, ESPN, Prime and NBC Sports as a motorsports announcer. While here at the GOLF CHANNEL, Hammons starred as the original anchor of the networks award-winning news show Golf Central and currently does play by play for some of the PGA TOUR events. | |
