Bio Update: After turning professional after the filming of The Big Break III: Ladies Only, Pam played competitive golf for the 2004 season and the beginning of the 2005 season. In '04 and '05 she played on and off in Duramed FUTURES Tour events. She placed second in the 2005 Conn. Women's Open, shooting 4-under-par. Pam also competed in the '05 and '06 ReMax World Long Drive Championship where she placed third in the match play format in '06. She was included as the first female member of the Pinnacle Distance Team. Pam decided to stop playing competitive golf and is currently pursuing a career in real estate. Maiden name was Pam Crikelair in The Big Break III.
The Big Break III Bio: Growing up in Westchester County, N.Y., golf was never a part of Pamela's life. She began downhill ski racing at age 6 and was big into field hockey and lacrosse during adolescence and early adulthood. It wasn't until three years ago - as a senior at Dartmouth College - that she picked up a golf club as a way to help rehabilitate a field hockey injury. After graduating, Pamela rejected lucrative offers to work on Wall Street, choosing instead to move to Florida to learn a game she had never played competitively and pursue her dream of becoming a professional golfer. Her first professional event was the 2003 FUTURES Golf Tour Qualifying School, where she shot under par and proved to herself that she could compete despite lack of playing experience. Standing 6' tall, Pamela hits the ball long and already has competed in two REMAX World Long Drive Championships. She also finished fourth in the 2003 Connecticut State Women's Amateur Championship. While on site shooting BBIII, Pamela used her experience as an aerobics instructor to help keep the other ladies in "step" by conducting impromptu aerobics classes on the driving range.
The Big Break III Results: Despite having the least amount of experience, Pam recorded the first hole-out in Big Break history. She was able to battle her way into the series finale losing 2 and 1.
