Bio Update: Since her departure from The Big Break VI: Trump National, Laura has joined the Cactus Tour, and has played well with five top-10 finishes in five tournaments, including one win.  Laura says that one of the coolest moments since getting back home from Trump National, was getting recognized by a mechanic at a Wendy's restaurant.  She went as far as taking a picture with the guy and personally delivered a signed promotional photo of herself to where he works.  Laura is convinced that being on The Big Break VI raised her confidence level on the golf course significantly, and is looking forward to being more "me" during The Big Break VII: Reunion.

The Big Break VI Bio: Growing up a “rink rat,” her first love was, and still is, ice skating. She trained with her brother, Benoit, to be professional figure skaters and considered trying out for the 1998 U.S. Hockey team. Those dreams ended eight days before her 14th birthday when she fell while practicing a difficult skating move and experienced a triple ankle fracture. While recovering from the injury, her family moved to a house on a golf course and decided to become golfers. Her first year in high school, she practiced on the range with her father teaching her from books he read. The next year, she was captain of her high school boys’ team, and later won the Arizona State Girls’ Junior Championship in her junior year.  In her senior season, she defended the ASJC title and claimed the Arizona Women’s State Championship. Laura was named 1997 Arizona Junior Golf Association player of the year and in 1998 was selected as one of 10 girls in the country as AJGA Compaq Scholastic All-Americans.  In a bold move, she turned down numerous college scholarship offers to turn pro. She played the Duramed FUTURES Tour with limited success before attending Arizona State University. Her brother plays the Gateway Tour and has twice qualified for PGA TOUR events.

The Big Break VI Results: Laura was eliminated in the seventh episode.
